Design Principles

It is planned to build a floating pier area in the planning area in İstinye and Tarabya Bay. Floating piers are scaffoldings that are fixed to the concrete masses placed on the sea floor by elastic cables which have no connection to the land and do not interfere with water circulation by staying on the sea surface. It is planned to prevent the formation of sediment by preventing the movement of water in the bays and floating piers and to take precautions against sea and seabed pollution. In addition, the berthing and parking spaces of the boats are arranged in the bays to solve problems such as image pollution, uncontrolled situation, security problems, solid and waste water of the boats.
